Peta worked with Gill for 15 years (1991- 2006) handling their media, PR, event and sponsorship requirements. Over the years she helped to promote a host of Gill-sponsored sailors ranging from Olympic pairings Ian Walker and the late John Merricks, Mark Covell, Hugh Styles and Adam May, Laura Baldwin, Mitch Booth and Herbert Dercksen and solo sailors Conrad Humphreys, Ross Hobson and Nick Bubb as well as Whitbread and Volvo crews ranging from Dolphin & Youth (93) through Chessie Racing (97/98) and illbruck in the 01/02 race plus various British Steel and Global Challenge crews. Chairman Nick Gill supported Peta in her business startup in 1993 and they remain loyal colleagues and firm friends.
